Our school has cooperated with the The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, in launching the“Pilot Scheme on Social Work Service for Pre-primary Institutions” which is subsidized by the social welfare department. The project is named ‘Sunshine Campus – Stationing school social work services (kindergartens)’ provides on-site social work services two days a week. The aim of the service is for early identification of and providing assistance to pre-primary children and their families with welfare needs. And the scopes of service include providing professional counselling and referral services for children and families; organizing parenting education groups and talks; organizing relevant thematic activities to consolidate family relationship; providing professional consultations for teaching staff and parents; providing crisis management for cases in need.
